TENNIS COURT RESERVATIONS/POLICIES AT THE LISA & DOUGLAS GOLDMAN TENNIS CENTER.

The Goldman Tennis Center features:

  • 16 lighted tennis courts
  • 4 lighted multi-use mini courts (for mini tennis, family play and pickleball)
  • 1 lighted dedicated pickleball court

Court Fees

Tennis, Mini Court and Pickleball

New court fees take effect 10/1/2022

Courts may be rented for 30, 60 or 90 minutes at a time

Court and Cancellation Policies

  • One reservation per phone call.
  • Courts may be reserved for 30, 60 or 90 minutes at a time.
  • Fees are per court, not per person
  • San Francisco residents may reserve courts 8 days in advance.
  • Non-Residents may reserve courts 7 days in advance.
  • If booking a court 8 days in advance, open reservation begins at 12:30pm.
  • Reservation is forfeited after 10 minutes if court is unclaimed.
  • Fees will not be prorated for late arrivals.
  • Credit will be issued for unused rain-out time.
  • Reservations must be cancelled 4 hours in advance by phone or your account reservation privileges may be suspended.
  • Resident & Non-resident fees – If there is 1 resident, then the resident fee applies. Fees are assessed based on the person making the reservation.
  • Senior Discount – If there is one senior, then the senior fee applies. Fees are assessed based on the person making the reservation.
  • Youth Free Play – There must be all youths playing to get a free court.

Rain Procedure

On rainy days, staff may close the courts until they are playable. Call (415) 581-2540 to see if courts are dry.

Credit will be issued for paid, unused time if it rains during play. Make ups will be scheduled for lesson and league rainouts.

Tennis Court Rules & Etiquette

Please follow these rules to ensure safety and enjoyment for all 

  • Players must follow all current Covid-19 safety guidelines
  • Non-marking shoes and shirts required (no open toed shoes)
  • Keep noise to an appropriate level and be courteous and respectful of other players and staff
  • No unauthorized tennis instruction allowed
  • No personal ball machines or ball hoppers
  • Please pick up all tennis balls & dispose trash in the appropriate bins
  • Wait until point in play is complete before retrieving a ball from another court
  • Be safe. Before starting play, ensure the court is free from hazards (extra balls, cans or other debris)
  • No smoking or alcoholic beverages
  • No chewing gum, or open food/drink containers on court
  • No biking, skating, or skateboarding on court 
  • No unattended children that are not playing tennis
  • No pets on court
