Current COVID-19 Restrictions and Rules for Safe Play

Before coming to play please review this important facility information:

  • At this time, reservations are required.
  • Players will be asked to arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to their reservation start time, and must exit the facility promptly after the conclusion of their reservation.
  • We encourage 1 player to check in and pay for the group to avoid congestion at the reception desk.
  • All patrons must wear a face covering at all times except when eating, drinking, or during singles play if no one is within 30 feet of that player.
  • Singles and doubles tennis/pickleball play between any household is allowed.
  • Face coverings are required for doubles tennis and pickleball.
  • Gatherings and spectators are not permitted at this time. A minor player or participant may be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Players are asked to bring or purchase their own marked can of tennis balls, and return the other player’s tennis balls without contact.
  • Participants from different households are not allowed to share equipment and must be at least 6 feet apart at all times.
  • The indoor lounge and other seating areas are currently closed.
  • Bathrooms are available but locker room/changing areas are closed.
  • We ask that players do not gather indoors and maintain 6 feet of distance at all times.
  • Water fountains are currently closed.
  • Masks required during class participation.

How to Register & Reserve a Court

STEP 1: Go to gtc.clubautomation.com

STEP 2: Click “Access My Account”

STEP 3: Create or find your account.

STEP 4: Fill out your information

STEP 5: Welcome to your portal


Courts may be reserved for a minimum of 30min and a maximum 90min. San Francisco
City residents may reserve courts 8 days in advance. Non-Residents may reserve courts
7 days in advance. If booking a court 8 days in advance, open reservation begins at
12:30pm. Reservations must be canceled at least 4 hours in advance by phone to
avoid suspension of reservation privileges. Court payment is taken in person when you
check-in at the front desk. Court payment is not processed online.


In order to receive the San Francisco City resident rate, you will need to provide valid
proof of residency (ID, utility bill) when you check-in for your first reservation at the
front desk. First-time reservations will show a non-resident fee but will be adjusted at
check-in. All reservations thereafter will automatically have the resident rate



  • Must register and pay for a class prior to the first attendance.
  • Registrations can be made in person or online.
  • Registrations are NOT accepted by phone.
  • Late registrations can be prorated when signing up in person only.
  • Prorating cannot be done in advance, as priority is given to those that can attend a full session.
  • Programs may be combined or canceled based on registration numbers.
  • Participants may be reassigned according to age, ability, and class size.


Full refunds will be granted if requested no less than 10 days prior to the first class/camp meeting of
the session. Refund requests received after this time, but at least 5 working days prior to the first
class/camp meeting, will be assessed a $5 administrative fee per class, and will not receive a refund,
but rather a credit on your Lifetime Activities account. No refunds or credits will be issued for requests
received less than 5 working days prior to the first class/camp meeting. No refunds will be given for
non-attendance or for any reason other than cancellation by Lifetime Activities.


San Francisco City residents must verify their residency at The Goldman Tennis Center BEFORE signing
up for a class in order to receive the resident rate. Bring an ID or a utility bill showing your San
Francisco address. If you sign up prior to showing residency you may receive a credit on your Lifetime
Activities account however, there will be no credit card refunds for the difference.
