OUR STORY
Founded in 1993, Lifetime Activities has spent more than three decades creating, instructing, and growing tennis, pickleball, and recreation programs in communities throughout Northern California. In addition to delivering high-quality programs for players and participants of all ages and abilities, Lifetime Activities serves as the operator of municipal recreation facilities across six Bay Area communities.
Over the years, Lifetime Activities has grown from its roots in tennis into a leading provider of community-based racquet sports and recreation, building a strong reputation for exceptional service, innovative programming, operational excellence, and lasting partnerships with the communities we serve.
In the summer of 2026, Lifetime Activities entered a new chapter when the organization was acquired by Matt Hanlin, President of Impact Activities and a longtime industry peer. With the transition, Founder Dana Gill assumed the role of CEO Emeritus, continuing his connection to the organization he founded and led for more than three decades, while Matt assumed leadership as President and owner.
As Lifetime Activities moves into its next chapter, our commitment remains the same: creating positive experiences, strengthening communities, and providing opportunities for people to learn, play, connect, and enjoy lifelong participation in racquet sports and recreation.

Leadership
Matt Hanlin
President
Matt Hanlin became President of Lifetime Activities following his acquisition of the organization in the summer of 2026. Building on his work with Impact Activities, Matt’s leadership now extends to municipal tennis and pickleball operations in Northern California, Coronado in Southern California, and multiple locations throughout North Texas.
A former Division I All-American and the all-time winningest tennis player at the University of Washington, Matt went on to compete professionally and earn an ATP ranking. His connection to the sport spans nearly four decades, from competing and coaching to managing tennis and pickleball facilities and programs across multiple communities.
Beyond his work in facility management, Matt remains committed to expanding opportunities for young players through his 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which provides scholarships to youth. He also enjoys coaching his son, Dalton, and daughter, Dakota, and is looking forward to marrying his fiancée, Lucrecia, in November 2026.
Whether on the court or behind the scenes, Matt’s passion for tennis and pickleball continues to guide his commitment to growing the game, supporting communities, and creating opportunities for generations of racquet sport enthusiasts to come.
Dana Gill
Founder & CEO Emeritus
Over more than three decades, Dana has been dedicated to expanding access to quality recreation programs and public facilities, building partnerships with communities, mentoring generations of recreation and tennis professionals, and creating welcoming environments where people can learn, play, compete, and connect. Just as importantly, he has fostered a culture centered on service, care, and community, often saying, “We like to hire people who like helping others.” That philosophy has helped shape an organization where employees, customers, and community partners feel valued, supported, and connected.
A former Division I player at San Diego State University, Dana is an Elite USPTA-certified professional, lifelong advocate for grassroots tennis, and accomplished competitor. He was inducted into the USTA Northern California Hall of Fame in 2023 in recognition of his contributions to the growth of tennis and recreation throughout the region. He remains actively involved in the sport and continues to compete at the highest levels of international senior tennis.
Also in 2023, Dana achieved a world No. 1 ranking in the ITF Men’s 50+ division and continues to compete regularly on the ITF Masters Tour. He is a frequent participant in the ITF World Team and Individual Championships and, in 2025, captained and played on Team USA’s Men’s 55 & Over team that captured the ITF World Team Championship (Austria Cup).
Throughout his career, Dana has remained committed to using sport as a vehicle for connection, community, and personal growth, helping create opportunities for people to build friendships, stay active, and enjoy lifelong participation in recreation.
Isabella Feinberg
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Isabella Feinberg oversees the day-to-day operations of Lifetime Activities and provides leadership across the organization’s six Bay Area locations. She works closely with site leaders, division directors, and support teams to implement strategic initiatives, strengthen operational systems, and create the infrastructure needed to facilitate exceptional experiences for customers, employees, and community partners.
Since joining Lifetime Activities in 2014, Isabella has held a number of leadership roles within the organization, including serving as General Manager of the Lisa and Douglas Goldman Tennis Center in San Francisco during its opening in 2021. Throughout her tenure, she has been instrumental in the organization’s growth and evolution, helping lead major operational improvements, technology initiatives, long-term planning efforts, and the development and delivery of nationally recognized programs and facilities. She is passionate about building mission-driven infrastructure and processes that empower teams, enhance service, and support the organization’s continued success.
Isabella believes that great facilities and programs are built on a foundation of strong leadership, dedicated teams, and a commitment to continuous improvement. She is passionate about supporting the people and partnerships that strengthen communities, foster connection, and create lasting positive impact. As a lifelong tennis enthusiast and advocate for women in sport, she believes that tennis and recreation have the power to bring people together and create opportunities for everyone to participate, connect, and belong.
Isabella lives in Lafayette, CA, with her husband and their two mini goldendoodles, Savannah and Nola.
