Volleyball is a great game which improves communication, teamwork and motor skills!
Hand-eye coordination is also developed through drills aimed at mastering important serving, hitting, passing, setting, and footwork techniques.
Instruction is available as weekly classes or week-long camps. An action-packed volleyball class makes a nice addition to a weekly schedule. This type of regular practice is essential in building solid playing fundamentals. Our Lifetime Coaching Staff recommends training twice-a-week for accelerated development.
Camps are a wonderful way to get a boost of experience while school is out. Players are grouped based on level of play and are immersed in a fun, supportive, and safe learning environment.
Appropriate athletic attire/footwear required.
Beginners will develop underhand serving techniques. Basic vertical passes and setting skills will be practiced. Footwork practice and ball-tracking exercises will be combined to accelerate performance.
Intermediate-level players will learn to direct/position ball strikes, passes, and sets appropriate for more dynamic play. Footwork will be improved upon in terms of efficiency and speed.
Advanced-level players will learn jump-serve techniques in addition to developing the range and ball control required to sustain longer rallies.
